WASHINGTON, July 12 (DC Times Online) — Official Senate records in Washington still list Lindsey Graham as the senior U.S. senator from South Carolina, with his biography page saying he was elected in 2002 and has represented the state since 2003.
The Senate biography says Graham has been re-elected three times, in 2008, 2014 and 2020. It also lists him as chairman of the Senate Budget Committee and a member of the Appropriations, Judiciary and Environment and Public Works committees.
Britannica says Graham was born July 9, 1955, in Seneca, South Carolina, and served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003. His Senate office page lists a Washington office in the Russell Senate Office Building and an Upstate office in Greenville, South Carolina.
